This is Billy and his best friend 6, chilling outside the local park. Billy stresses about a pretty big life choice he's about to make. Meanwhile, 6 is the best soundboard for advice and says... pretty much next to nothing. Which is really all Billy needed. ("Man, thanks for lettin me vent. You're right, it's gonna turn out okay.")

This scene takes place a few months prior to "Adobe Slabs" -- I'd wanted to practice drawing Billy and M at first (because 6 is not too prominent in that story) but it just seemed fitting to show Billy and his internal struggles. When he's stressed, he gets verbal diarrhea and almost can't stop talking
it's so charming and adorable!
Ahem.
This would be one of those moments. It's fitting that he has friends that prefer to listen rather than provide too much input. Haha.

I like how there isn't an abundance of details in the background, so the eye carries over to the subjects.
